When you live along or in a couple in a dense urban area, you wish your apartment could have a balcony. Balconies are cool, you can sit and relax while enjoying the sun or getting the perfect sun tanning. When you have babies in an apartment with a balcony, you sometimes wish the balcony weren’t there, as it’s too dangerous for them.

Sometimes, you simply wish Hofman Dujardin’s retractable balcony could be an apartment standard component. His Bloomframe is a window frame that extends small surface into the air, creating an outdoor space for a balcony or a casual personal storage place. The Bloomframe could be mounted on existing or new buildings, said the catalog description. (via notcot)
