CocolicoEach day, one green design.

Compared to the first generation of solar panels, solar panels become slims and savvy. Slims of course, because we’re a bit fed up with the bulky opaque solar panels, and savvy as some companies like Practical Instruments imagine better device to capture more sunbeams during the day.

The PI’s Heliotube could be a sunflower. Where the sun goes is where it’s looking at. Of course, solar concentrators already integrate those sun tracking systems, but the technology is now more affordable to mass consumers. By facing the sun, these solar panels can convert sunbeam longer than others. They show the same easy installation than regular ones, you can clip them on your windows or lay them on the rooftop.

But the trick is to create a house that integrates with the same sun-tracking system to always line your solar panels to the sun.
