If the chop stick rates zero on the human reuse of bamboo, the bamboo keyboard would score at the highest rank. Tokyo, Japan-based Links International is going to sell their new PC keyboard, mostly made of bamboo. As the material grows fast and shows extensive physical properties, it makes sense to incorporate it into our daily objects.
Link’s bamboo keyboard features the usuals for a conventional keyboard: 104 keys and a USB connector that comes with a USB-to-PS/2 adapter. Nevertheless, it would be of no interest for hard-gamers. The keyboard weights too much (850g) and shows a quite bigger thickness (2.5cm, almost 25% bigger than the conventional keyboards).
One last thing. Even if bamboo is quite insensitive to humidity, users might experience some inconveniences depending on their air.
