How bad is our world? Or how global is it? Tough but quite ‘trendy’ question. Many scientists and researchers are working on it. The Mapping Globalization (MG) doesn’t intend to outrun them, but to provide a visual infoaesthetic mapping of the problem.
In practice, MG is a collection of wiki pages distributed into three groups: maps; historical perspectives to tell how things have evolved; data, analysis and studies.
Princeton University backs the project. But of course, it’s a big project. And, cool, you’re invited to collaborate. We deeply support this because enlighten data with (hot) graphics can give a better lucid understanding of what is happening nowadays. And global collaboration will ease the work to social change when good solutions would come.
