Close one eye. Just one. Because you just need to look at the great idea at the right.
Building an interactive billboard has never been so low-tech. Usually, “interactive” automatically leads to “robots” and producing a commercial sign needs to be done with the collaboration of an army of engineers.
So the Leo Burnett ad agency has brought a nice idea. Very informative yet very minimal user interface, smart use of the local environment, no electrical wasted, the billboard is made of aluminum which spares a big presence of the ‘golden arch’ brand.
“The billboard will remain in place until August, when the sun starts to wane, but Mr. Huff says he’s helping Leo Burnett evaluate other concepts,” says the Chicago Business (via isopixel).
