CocolicoEach day, one green design.

Keiji Ashizawa and Izumi Okayasu must love the Bat-signal. (You know, the big light projector that cast the Batman logo in the sky.) Nonetheless, while we’re bragging, the two creative Japanese designers are reusing satellite dish to build nifty Parabola lights.

The simple idea is to put a mighty halogen projector in replacement of the original satellite wave receiver. “With this lighting equipment, I create parallel light by putting a point light source in the focus,” said Ashizawa. And if you accidentally or intentionally move the light from its position, you could end up with an omni light.

Cool idea for DIY photographs, really cool anyway, but only for your football-size loft.
