Each year, French car maker Peugeot is inviting designers from any country to draw the brilliant car of the next decade. Most of submitted projects consists of futurist, speedy, voraciously energy sucker concept cars. This year (mainly due to the marketing campaign on hybrid cars) there’s a nice car that integrates a hybrid motor.
The Peugeot Allscape is a sport car. But “our relation with this planet is about to become more pleasurable, exciting and fulfilling as we push down the accelerator to go faster, and really see the great outdoors”, says Gustavo Ferrero, who created the concept. “When you take the wheel of your brand new Peugeot Allscape, you’ll have under your command: 1) a natural gas powered V4 2.0, 2) four-wheel-integrated electrical-power 30kw motorbrakes.” “This hybrid system provides extreme power to weight ratio.” And it “gives economy and autonomy to reach the far outdoors great landscapes.”
And as the devil is in details, Ferrero also considers an anti-noise system to lower the decibels of the engine, some LED lamps at the rear and front of the car, or an “ozone-friendly” air conditioning system. Some luxury options for the modern generation. If you like this, you can vote for his concept car on the Peugeot contest web site.
