CocolicoEach day, one green design.

Even though it could be polluted, a good way to water plants is to use rainwater. Plus, it’s free. But do we have to display large buckets to collect it? What happen when we leave the plants during the summer break, how to water them? A great idea would be to augment the capacity of the plan to redirect rainwater to the plant itself.

Well, the French design agency Fulguro took the idea for grant. Their reLeaf is a folded aluminum sheet, shaped as a leaf (or a palm). Casual gardeners just need to stick it into flower pots or in a watering can, and wait for the rain. The use of aluminum slows the deterioration of the leaves. Fulguro also puts the idea into perspective, through an indoor watering system that cares about plants and their needs of water.
