If it reduces pollution, it still is a gas powered engine. But the Revopower wheel carries a great idea in its design: Turning every bike into a Solex scooter.
The idea consists of replacing the front tire of bikes with a power wheel which weights around 5 kg and buries a built-in two-stroke engine. On a flat road, it can speed up to 32 km/h and even delivers 0.8 KW power maximum output to cycling iPoders or to recharge cellphone batteries.
One gallon gives an autonomy of approximately 200 miles (320 km). And it is somewhat coincidental that RevoPower is a Colorado-based while VeloCruz, the US distributor of the Solex motorbike, is headquartered in Utah.
