Susan Stockwell works primarily with paper, from coffee filters, tea bags and maps — but that doesn’t stop her making clothes. She created costumes, dresses or textiles made of domestic and industrial disposable products that pervade our everyday lives. For the rest, she must have a certain sense of magic.
The artist has attracted the attention of some big corporations, like Kleenex to create a body of work from toilet tissue. We can wait to see more Susan Stockwell using her talent to design some reused clothes available for the mass market. Check also her website.
