CocolicoEach day, one green design.

If you’ve ever read Paul Auster’s book Moon Palace, you know how possible it is to live in a house full of cardboard furniture. And here’s a good illustration of what designers can achieve with this ultra-versatile material.

Alexey Chugunnikov and Alexander Sekirash, both graduate student at the St-Petersburg State Academy of Arts and Industry, in Russia, dished out this universal hanger made of “any sheet material which has a sufficient safety factor.”

“Due to the minimal thickness of the pattern, it is convenient for warehousing and transportation (1000 pieces 3mm thick form a pile 3000mm high)”, they added. Our two cents: A cool design, useful for travellers and globe-trotters.
